Come Away With Me

Life is really great right now. My heart is set on Cal Poly and I'm constantly thinking about college. I'm done with high school and parental supervision. I just want to be out on my own without my nosey madre on my back. I know I'll have to take care of myself next year, and I'll gain many more responsibilities; but I think I'm more than ready. Shoot, I've been ready since the third grade, no joke. Senior year has been awesome so far. My friends have embraced Casey with open arms and now all we do on the weekends is chill. No more going to parties and getting into trouble...just "chilling" lol. But, seriously, I've been watching a lot of people go down hill this year, and I'm relieved I'm not one of them. My friends and I are just enjoying each other as much as we possibly can before graduation because we all know that we'll be going our separate ways afterwards. We all want different things, especially Tara. She changes her goals weekly, lol. Shout out to yearbook for being TIGHT! And shout out to Casey for being the #1 boyfriend! Bye guys!!!!!

My 17th birthday was f-ing awesome!!!! My girls threw a party for me the Friday night before, which was a whole lotta fun. We all did like a 6th grade slumber party type deal, how cool is that, lol. When I woke up, Taylor and Tara had set up a picnic basket for Casey and I so that we could drive to Pismo for the day and have a nice little picnic on the beach (cutest idea ever). I couldn't believe they did that. While we were over their Casey and I went to downtown SLO, Cayucus, Morro Bay, my bro's house, and I showed him around Cal Poly for a little bit. Later that night we went to my favorite restaurant in downtown SLO called 'Mission Grill'. God that place is oh so good. No, it's more than good, it is the best. We ordered oysters for an appetizer, split the vodka seafood pasta, and had their famous sizzling cookie for dessert. Man, I'm seriously salivating right now, lol. Then after dinner Casey gave me my gift in the car. It was this gorgeous heart pendant from Tiffany's. I flipped!!! I wear it like 24/7 now, it's kind of pathetic, lol. I have to go cuz now we're getting ready for my dad's birthday dinner. I swear it's birthday after birthday this time of year. I have to make him a card too, CRAP!!!

It's Tuesday night and I already can't wait to get this week over with. The girls and I are going to Pismo for the day this Saturday for my birthday. God, I'm sooo freakin' young. I'm only turning 17!!! That's horrible! Last year I thought that was an old age, but I guess having a boyfriend in college changes that whole perspective. Oh, and before I forget, I want to give a shout out to Vuk-dawg and all my little yearbook homies so that I won't get my ass kicked. So there guys, I do mention you in my Xanga! Punks!

The Fresno State game was off the hook last Saturday! Casey was so adorable in is band uniform. He tipped his hat to me before he went on for the half-time show. Ah, so cute!!! I went with Taylor and Tara (craziest girls ever!). We refer to ourselves as the tripod now, lol. It took us half an hour to find parking. Yeah, it sucked, but it was so worth it, we had a blast. The girls picked out two cute trumpet players, Chris and Jeff, and cheered for them all night. I know what you're thinking: "dumb high school girls", lol. Casey's really starting to get close with them and that makes me so happy. That's the way it should be. You should never separate your friends from anything, it's f-ing senior year! But yeah, I have to finish my AP Psych homework so I'll hit you guys up later. Bye!!!

This weekend was awesome, especially since I barely have any homework. I got to go out with my friends Friday and spend all Saturday with Casey. We tanned in the backyard, ate PCH, and watched old, classic movies all day long. The best lazy day this year by far! Then, Tara called me this morning and said that she, Taylor, and I have Fresno State Football tickets for this Saturday, and they're three rows up from the band. I LOVE BANDOS!!! So now we'll get to see Casey all decked out in his sexy marching band uniform, lol. Slash, I think we might make red shirts, too, just to embarrass him. I'm such a mean girlfriend. Muh, ha, ha, ha!!! Okay, so I'm going to finish the little homework I have now and then go to Taylor's. Bye guys!!

Okay, so, I have a truck load of chickens due in AP Psych manana! Uh oh!!! I swear that woman loves assigning homework, just to scare us. Come on, it's the third week of school, the fear tactics are becoming obsolete. I just wish it was in the middle of November when I can just sit at home on a rainy day, read God only knows what of Barbara Delinsky's workings, drink my hot chocolate, wear sweats, and eagerly anticipate my Thanksgiving feast. God, that is life! I love winter time, it gives me an excuse to be bundled up like a big dork. Oh, and how could I forget? Listening to my man Franky on 98.9 just before X-mas. Shoot, I love all those boys: Franky, Tony, Mikey, Harry, Dean. Why can't the holidays come faster!!! I am sick and tired of this God awful 3-digit weather. This is why I would want nothing more than to reside in Boston after I graduate from college. All they have are rainy days! But yeah, school is going good. I am procrastinating as usual and, yet again, waiting for Casey to come home from band. He has it all the time!!! Shoot me!!! But it's okay because I'll get him back when Mock Trial starts, then he'll hate ME. lol, j/k baby. But, really, I miss him a lot during the week because I have so much to tell him. Weekends are becoming much more important now. So if anyone has a funny joke, please tell it because I am in short supply. Mine are all conversation killers if ya'll haven't noticed. Okay, time for homework, boo hoo. Have a good one.
